If you did it on line or had your tax person do it electronically, it usually only takes 7-10 business days.

If you efiled directly with the IRS, probably two weeks. However, as it gets later in the season, they have more returns to process so it may stretch by a few more days.

If you efiled with a tax service, it will be somewhere around 3 days, if you took out a refund anticipation loan. If they did what they call a refund anticipation check, where the preparation fees are taken out of the refund, it's still about 2 weeks. Note, the HSBC bank (Block and Jackson-Hewitt both use that bank) processes refund anticipation checks once a week, so it could be as much as three weeks, if you did that.

It relies upon on what day you document. If the IRS accepts your return with the aid of 11 am on Thursday (many times means submitting with the aid of hour of darkness Wednesday night) then your refund could be direct deposited on Friday of here week.

8-15 days; the US Treasury releases refund money every week at 12PM Noon on Thursday; your refund will appear in your account on the following Friday, 8 days after the Treasury drain; depending on your financial institution, it may appear 1-2 days later.
