Your friend is not jealous of you, she is insecure about herself and obviously doesn't trust that her BF can be a gentleman around you. Do you like her boyfriend? There must be some reason she doesn't want him around you. Maybe he told her he thinks your cute or something like that. She is totally insecure, not jealous. And armed with that info, that relationship is doomed. Folks, life is too short, don't be with someone you can't trust. Be with someone for the joy they bring you, not for the heartache. And if your friend won't hang out with you under certain conditions, dump her and find a new friend, one that will hang with you no matter what. She's not a true friend, maybe just an aquaintance.

Jealousy is a form of insecurity. If my friend did the same thing, I would take the time to talk about it with her. To be jealous is a waste of time and emotion, because if someone decides to split up, they will do it and all the jealousy in the world will help nothing. If you are friends, tell her how you feel and ask her why she feels the way she does.

Why do you care to hang out with her when she is with her boyfriend? It doesnt mean she has cut you out completely, but maybe she likes her time with her man. You can hang out when you all go to a social party.

if that is what she wants and she is really your friend then you will understand and just find time to hang out with her. but if she doesnt have time for just the two of you then you should talk to her about it and tell her to trust you because you are her friend.
