For different reasons :
Austria : to make a strong unified Germany (not really an invasion but annexation)
Czechoslovakia : first Sudetenland because there were many German descents living (the rest of the country was after that defenceless)
Denmark and Norway : to protect the iron coming from Sweden so that the English feet could not do anything.
Belgium Luxembourg, Netherlands : to attack France (Netherlands to protect his right flank) Belgium and Luxembourg : to pass trough (by doing so avoiding to fight trough the Maginot line)
Yugoslavia : because the Italians were loosing ground against Greece in Albania. Germany had to help them.

Don't forget that many of these countries were invaded before, in 1914 (Netherland (?), France, Belgium, Luxembourg), during the WW1. (sorry to tell : the invasion of Luxembourg was not a funny story, at least not for the very vast majority of the Luxembourgers.)

Would have been much better if you'd limited your question to one of the above nations. Then people could answer you a little more specifically. I know why they invaded norway. But did germany invade austria? Why are there so many stars in the night sky?

Because the germans were convinced they were the chosen ones and should be the rulers of the world. proof that people can be convinced of nearly anything. The sae process that is hapening with the Muslims now.

The people of Israel also have the attitude they are better than any other.
