When I turn the "volume" up the screen shows the volume going up but no sound is there. When I went to control panel to the sounds option it says there is NO AUDIO DEVICE!! How do I fix it to hear sound again??

if you have the reinstal disks that came with the computer there should be a sound driver on there or if u didnt get the disk then go to the website that made your computer click somewhere that says driver downloads enter ur computer serial number then look for something like sound blaster download it instal it restart ur pc listen for sound if this doesnt work send me an email we will go from there adamleebutts@yahoo.com

Sounds like the sound card drivers are either corrupt or not installed. If you still have the disc that came with your sound device (i.e. motherboard install disc, computer install disc if it was bought as a complete system, or sound card install disc if it's a separate card), put it in the CD-ROM drive and tell Windows to search for a new device. It should detect the sound card, and if you direct it to the drivers folder on the disc, it should find the correct drivers for you. If you know the name and model of the card, you can also go to the manufacturer's website and download the newest drivers for it.

38 GB is not very much space, you should install a second hard drive or if using a laptop just buy a bigger drive, or use an external USB drive. If you have data files such as movies all in one folder you can compress the folder, your videos will open slower but I've found that to be the best solution personally. If you can upgrade to win7 there are more options for disk management. You can make a separate partition for windows and user data and keep track of disk space better.
