If you can say for sure that your not, then you apprarently dont believe Satan is very smart and powerful. If you do believe Satan is smart and powerful on earth, then you must admitt that its at least possible you are demon possessed right now.
Of course, every religionist believes he or she has the correct Satan litmus test, but the funny thing is, they almost always differ some and the bible or quran dont offer any sure fire test for the devil affliction (cite me the passage if it exists).
So if theres no certain test or remedy, you must always question whether the devil is making you do thing or whether he controls you completely, cause you cant know for sure.
However if you love God super duper much, you could committ yourself to an instutution and be sure that you wont carry out the devils plan...or of course you could...

Satan and his demons are constantly tempting and annoying us. Constantly.
Possession is different...there are not as many full blown possessions, but they do happen. People who are truly possessed, usually know. They are either happy to be that way, because they've made a pact with Satan or they seek help.
There are probabaly people institutionalized with demons, but medical science will never be able to help or cure them because the need an exorcist.
If you really want to know more, there is a book by the Vatican Exorcist, Father Amorth. It's a good book and gives a pragmatic account of exorcism, satan, magic and evil.

I know I'm not demon possessed. Satan is powerful, yes, but God is stronger. I am what one would call a child of God. I am His and He protects me and I trust Him to do so. He promises in his word that Satan can never snach you from his hand when you are His.

Look up Gabriel Amorth on the Internet. He is the exorcist for Rome, and pretty much the smartest in this field. He personally has performed 50, 000 exorcisms. Look him up.
