I know, it seems like everyone is asking this question.

I have fair skin, with yellow/warm undertones
light blue eyes
dark blonde/light brown hair

It would be temporary hair dye. Should I go with a blue-black or what? I have no important events, prom and the virginia beach trip aren't until May. I want something a little more dramatic than right now.

Jet black only works for Asians and American Indians. Your coloring doesn't sound like either, so if I were you I wouldn't do it. Maybe a chestnut brown would be nice.

I would not trust a temporary going from that light to that dark it is very likely that it will be permanent. Have you thought about going to a wig shop and trying on black wigs to get an idea of whether or not you would like it before making such a drastic change? I have dark hair and olive skin with brown eyes Dyed mine black and I was miserable and it took forever to grow out make sure it is really what you want before you do it! Good Luck.

If you want to look dramatic, go ahead.
IMO, blue black hair doesn't look right on people with naturally fair coloring. Most caucasians can't pull it off unless you have mediterranean, Asian, and/or Native American heritage. But then, that's if you want a natural look. If you're going for dramatic, sure, blue black with rainbow highlights!

Well a died black is a lot darker than the shade of black that people have. I think that a dark or medium would be a better choice. it would still be a change and dramatic, without going full out. Besides you can always fie it darker, but its hard to die it lighter.

That would be a pretty huge change. Have you considered going a warm/deep brown first to see how you like it before you dye it black?

Try on a black wig first. Black can be a harsh color and very aging to some. Why not buy some extensions play with them, maybe a bright blue!

I think you would look good with black hair especially with blue eyes, but why temporary?? if your going to do the damage of dying it why not go permanent

honestly, pale yellow skin, and black hair? you would look like Morticia Adams. Temporary hair color never looks like permanent hair color either. You might like the temp, try to get permanent and hate it. You would be bleaching it til it was orange to get rid of it. If you did it though, at least you'd be passing on this advice to someone else, lol.

It's risky to color your hair with store bought product! :S Don't do it! Also, black is a Hard color to get out and basically, you'll have to highlight it out over time if you want to change it to a different color. In the end you'll have damaged hair! I wouldn't go that extreme.. it sounds fun but I'd be worried about the aftermath when it comes time to change it and recolor it.
