I'm not very hungry most of the time, but my friend is really worried that I'm starving myself. I said that I wanted to lose weight and the next few day I was like, "I'm not hungry." at lunch and so she bought me food... Why is it so bad for me not to eat? I mean if I'm not hungry and can eat just dinner and be fine, what's wrong with it?

It depends if its an everyday thing or a once in a while thing.
If your like this everyday, I'd say you should start eating a little! Not eating at all isn't good for you. If its once in a while, fine, but you'd be better off eating everyday.
As for wanting to loose weight, try vegetables, you can eat as much as you want of them and you won't gain weight! Plus, they'll fill you up so you don't have room for fattening foods!

Starving yourself is bad...and your friend is trying to show concern (especially true if you're kinda a small person to begin with).

If you're truly not hungry, then you don't have to eat. A lot of people gain too much weight by eating out of stress or boredom & eating only when you're hungry can help you avoid that. Usually, eating a little at a time throughout the day is better for losing weight than skipping meals though....keeps your matabolism running.

because it's not healthy. you are making your body suffer without the vitamins and proteins it needs. in all reality your suppose to eat 6 times a day.. esp on a diet.. breakfast lunch and dinner.. and a snack after each.. atleast 3 times a day, so you can stay healthy if not your body will be dreading it later in life

Most people eat 3 or more times a day. Eating regular meals helps your body function properly. Keeps you alert.

its bad for your metabolism to skip a meal. if you truly do not feel hungry, i would still eat, say, half or even a quarter of a sandwich, just so you stay healthy. you might feel more hungry after eating

Well you need to take medicines, not a big deal, i can suggest you 1, take " Liv 52" daily, 2 tablets per day thats it, your hunger will grow.

You are going to starve yourself. Even if you arent that hungry, eat some fruit or something. Please don't harm yourself or pass out.

that is crash dieting and it's not the most healthy way of loosing weight.

your metabolism slows down and you'll end up gaining weight prolly.
