Just philosophizing about the standard things we all have to endure in life.

Emotional Trauma.
Breaking somebodys heart.
Having somebody break your Heart.
Losing/Gaining a loved one.
Fist Fighting. Winning and Losing.
Games. Winning and Losing.
Entering the wrong restroom facility.
Car accident.
Being made fun of.
Making fun of somebody.

It is funny. We are guaged by our reactions to those situations, which we all endure.
Just put a check mark next to the ones you have endured and expect the others.

Can you provide me with more of the "Standards" of life?

and please direct me to the philosophy room.

Who would be willing to be turned away from all the roadways of the world, unless he understood their real futility? Is it not needful that he should begin with this, to seek another way instead?
All the actions of human endever are inherently "futile" and/or "meaningless". As the lives of both the wise and foolish alike end in death. While the pursuit of wisdom is encouraged for the enjoyment of an earthly life, it is to no avail to ascribe eternal meaning to it. In light of this perceived senselessness, one should enjoy the simple pleasures of daily life, such as eating, drinking, and taking enjoyment in one's wife and work, which are gifts from the hand of God.

Yes, I have experienced all of those things which you describe. However, in trying to ascribe meaning to those things, given many of the hours of battling myself, I have concluded that my life has been an illusion. I have created for myself everything that I thought to be important and deserving of my attention. It all turns out to be nothing. I am living in a world of my own making. I assigned an importance to matters that in the end have no importance at all. I am threatened only by my own mistaken creations. It never happened the way I thought it. It was just a non-reality. All of our experiences are the creations of our own thoughts.

Nothing unreal exists. Nothing real can be threatened. Herein lies the peace of God. If it were real, it would have never been a threat to me. It was only given the meaning in which I have assigned it. When eternal thought expresses itself within the frame work of space and time, it becomes matter. Our thoughts within the box of space and time cannot know anything first hand except material things. But we can deduce that outside the box of space and time is eternal thought. It is what we are and that which we call God
