I would like to gain weight, I have been skinny all my life, and I am now almost 31 with 3 kids. After each child, I went right back to being skinny. I know a lot of people would kill for this, but I actually want to keep weight on! I am a pretty picky eater, and I guess that doesn't help, but I am also always on the go so don't have time to always sit and eat 3 full meals. I want to start some sort of weight training, just to get back some muscle i've lost over the years. It seems like I am wasting away! I don't want to be a body builder or anything, but if I'm going to gain weight I'd rather it be muscle to look toned again. Help!!

It's pretty difficult for women to get that bodybuilder physique. I would get a set of hand weights, between 2 - 7 lbs at most, and get some workout videos and follow those to put on some muscle. I use Gilad's Quick Fit System routine and it's not strenuous and doesn't take long at all if you're on the go. Carry around granola bars and other snacky type foods to eat if you do a lot of running around. But don't eat unhealthily just to gain weight; that'll end up hurting you in the long run. Good luck!

Dont listen to that previous suggestion about eating ice cream all the time- you dont want to gain unhealthy weight!

It takes alot more time to gain weight than to loose it.......

You should buy those GNC 2200 calorie shakes and eat alot of small meals throughout the day- eat alot of spaghetti and pasta inbetween your main meals, make sure to drink alot of water.....limit your sodas/caffeine.

My boyfriend lost alot of weight because he had really bad ulcers and has a high metobolic rate. This worked for him.....it took about 10 mos for him to gain 15 pounds.
