It was a slow day in the legislature that day. Nothing better to do.

There has never been a ban on hard liquor advertising. There was, by mutual consent, a self-imposed moritorium on television advertising by the distilled spirits industry. But the government was never involved.
By the way, Mike's Hard Lemonade is not a hard liquor; it is a malt beverage, which makes it closer to a beer.

I see them on tv all the time like the goose brand and the tanquera or however u spell it. I also see that one commercial where they put in reverse and then play it back and the guy is saying no thanks I'm driving but it's for a liquor. They just have something at the end of all of them about drinking responsibly.

Commercials weren't banned. It was suggested that they not advertise and they didn't. Now they have decided to advertise and there is no law against it. It was never against the law to advertise liquor.

hi your question is multi dimensional. government. hv already imposed regulations on sale of tobacco products to minors (purely in fact that implementation won't be in an entire way), government. have already replaced the warnings (made it extra awaring "affirming that T-Prod. motives maximum cancers) & Tobacco kills, a number of the warning like depiction of - cranium and Bones sign, - well being warning , - Pictorial representation of ill consequences of tobacco use - Warnings like - i. Tobacco kills 2500 Indians commonplace, ii. Your smoking kills infants, iii. Tobacco motives slow and painful death, iv. Tobacco motives mouth maximum cancers are additionally in pipeline and a few of 'em could be made effective / enforced in a month or 2. subsequently steps have and are being consistently taken via the Indian government. to chop back down the risk. Its tru that a severe sales is being generated from the sale of T products yet i'm particular if such regulations as planned if imposed the circumstances could be balanced.

Really no need to advertise an addictive substance. They make so much profit and we pay so much taxes on that junk that they do PSAs', you know, for the kids.
Reach 18 you cannot drink in many sates, but you can pay the taxes, join the army and kill or be killed for ,,something.
