Vultures will eat rotten meat, just not horrid. in many places in africa vultures will wait till a deciesed rhino has rotted down a bit before they can break into the skin. Vultures also feed their young by regurgitating old meat.
They rarly hunt. They are highly inteligent and will wait till something else has killed as it saves energy.
They range in size and the reason they have bald or mostly clean heads is so they don't get the feathers on thier head matted up with blood and gore.

Vultures only eat a fresh kill - they do not eat rotting meat. Their size depends upon the specific vulture...turkey vultures which are common in the US are pretty large, wing spans of 6 to 8 feet (or more), bodies are large too, although I can't tell you their weight. They typically roost in trees and fly in thermals of hot air to preserve energy.

well, I am not exactly sure about the others but I know it's diet. Voltures are carnivores...but do not kill the animals. They eat dead , but fresh material. Such as a recently killed gazelle. A lion would eat all he wanted. Then comes the voltures who eat the rest.Hope that helps. Sorry I didn't know the other stuff.
