im 22 years old, 4'11" in height and i weigh 97lbs. i have never ever gained over 100lbs. some people say its fine because of my height, but some say 97lbs is too skinny. im not skin &bones, i have meat all over my body. oh &im full japanese (if that helps). am i healthy? i eat whatever i want &i do exercise.

Girl, I'm 4'11 too and I weight 110, and trust me, your weight is fine for your height. I go to the gym almost everyday and the personal trainers, of course the ones I get along with, have told me that for our height we are supposed to weight somewhere between 105 and 115 pounds, so I don't think that 97 pounds is wrong at all for your height. I would considered that being healthy for someone being that size( no offense ).

I can also see where you don't gain weight is that you exercise now I'm not saying to quit just keep it up and you'll live a long and healthy life

And another reason for you not gaining weight is that you have a very high metabolism that burns fat into energy

I am sorry, but you are short. As far as I know you are probably an average weight or close to it. Especially if you aren't just skin and bones. It very much matters how much height you have compared to your weight. Also bones size (thickness) helps to know also. Just look up a chart on weight online. They are everywhere. Some calculate by your weight and sex and skeletal size as you enter it into the website's info.

I would think that your fine. I have a friend who's a couple inches taller than you and she's 95lbs. The only thing wrong with her right now is that she has a cold. If you're really concerned about it, ask your doctor. If it helps, I'm 5'9" and I just hit 107 last week.

I assume u r of the skirt wearing persuasion...4'11" 97 lbs sounds about perfect to me...I know a ton of girls that would love those proportions...keep doing what u r doing. Now if u were 5'6" I'd say you need to eat a few ham sandwiches...sayanora

if you wiegh 97 pounds got meat all ova yeah then it may mean you dont have that much muscle but u probaly are in shape what kind of exercise do u do that should tell.but if u a girl than thats perfect.

I'd say you're just about right; I'm only an inch taller than you, and back when I was little and slim (pre-baby ), I weighed perhaps 103.

Well asains typically smaller than the rest of us. Since you are smaller it is fine, also try checking your bmi. Just keep eating right and excersing and you will be fine.
