ok hear it goes. my girl tells me that she loves me but then when i tell hre that i love her she says "no you dont nobody can love i think that if my mom dident half to she woluldent either" i really do love this girl she is the only thing good that has happend to me in a long time but evrey way i try to tell her that i love her she shoots it down. she also says that im tho only person that makes her happy how can i truley show her my love for her

The only thing you can do is prove to her that you love her. Be there for her no matter what, don't turn your back on her for anything. She has obviously been through a very hard life and not had a lot of love and affection thrown her way so she doesn't know how to accept it, so just keep telling her and hugging her and telling her until she finely believes you. It will take time, but it can happen keep trying to talk to her and tell her you love her and want to be with her.

Give her time and stick with her no matter what. She will get the message. Sometimes it is hard to accept that someone loves you because when you accept that, you put yourself in a position where you can get hurt. It makes you vulnerable. Plus it seems that she has a low self esteem and feels that someone would have to be out of their mind to love her. I don't know if that will ever go away for her, but usually over time people learn how untrue that is.

So do I have this straight? You are responsible for her happiness? She can give but not accept love (which by the way, makes you a liar just for saying "I love you"). No one can love her because she's unlovable?
This girl has issues. Insist that she get therapy and meds or whatever, because this is just gonna get worse. Or better yet, run like hell.

Cuckooo! What the hell is her problem? And more importantly why would you want to stay with someone who rejects your love? That's what she's doing...you do realize that right? And to include that thing about her mom. She has issues. If my bf ever told me that I didn't love him, when I tell him I do, that would totally p*ss me off! Someone telling me how I feel or what I can and can't feel???
Sounds to me like you're a pretty decent and caring and affectionate guy. You're asking how can you truly show your love for her? Okay...she's already shooting down the whole love theory, why work harder for more rejection?

OK, lemme put it to you this way.... the girl is insecure and she feels the need for you to tell her that you love her over and over because each time is a little more reassuring. So you need to keep telling her and being kind and all that.
And hopefully she'll get over her insecurity and realize love for love.

Show her you love her by simply being there for her. Continue to enjoy her company without saying the words. Let her want to hear them from you. You will know she is ready to hear "I love you" when she asks.

Just let it go man. If she keeps saying you dont love me than just show her. Dont tell her..Now dont show her by buying things for her everyday,being a servant..but be a gentlemen and do sweet things..tahn maybe she might change her views for you.
