Play in the NBA. I hear they have All-Stars. ALL-STARS!!!

Another tip: Be a total jerk. Women always fall for the jerks.

I don't know how old you are (and I don't say this by any means in a condescending way) but I know it may be difficult at any age, but gets easier with time and experience. As hard as it sounds, just simply:
DO NOT be awkward. It's over, you two can still be friends. Smile, talk casually to her as you would to any friendly *acquaintance*, no more, no less. The past is past. Good luck!

Just try not to act weird around her. Just relax and be cool. Try to act like it doesnt bother you to much. Dont embarass her though about you guys breaking up. If she doesnt want to be friends with you right away dont force it. Let her be for awhile. She is not your favorite person right now because you broke up with her.

Simple, don't be friends. It'll just end up happening all over again, going round and round in circles. Don't ignore her or be cold, just be yourself. Don't try and show off. If you ignore her that'll just make her want to come running back 90 percent of the time.

I know it's hard but you can't think about those special times you had when you were together, just concentrate on being friends for now. Depending on what your breakup was for (I'm not going to ask) you might find you start to like each other again and get bac together. This happened to me recently - this summer.

There is no being friends after you break up...go your own way man. I'm not saying you should be an enemy but just forget she ever existed and move on...it's called ice water dude.

dont bring up the past and just sit there and talk about your relationship, but dont just ignore her either. and dont go out of your way to hurt her, talk about her, trash her to people and make out with other girls in front of her, esp ones that she doesnt like, has/had rivalries with, or her friends or sisters/cousins.

why do you want to still be friends with her? closure? when i read your sentence you say "play" it cool.....games? when your truly ready to be her friend, then i would say simply hang out with her and be her friend and you won't have to worry about playing cool. Quit being a poser.
