and I don't have a question, I just want to tell everybody because I LOVE my tattoo! It's a bit bigger than a quarter, somewhat above my ankle on my right leg. Since I totally adore scuba diving, I had a diver down flag inked, but it's in the shape of heart, not the usual rectangle.

Alright, I'm 62 and have 10 my favorite one is a portrait of my deceased husband on the calf of my leg. I would like 1 more with the names of my 9 Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren done on a family tree, want it put on my shoulder.Trust me you'll want more.

Well since you shared your tattoo, I'll share mine! I love mine, too. Thanks for reading ☺. I have one purple flower, one blue flower, one orange flower and one red flower. They're tiger lily's, with green leaves and black "tribal wrap-around designs. It is located above my wrist bone and it doesn't wrap all the way around my wrist. If you were to measure it in length and width, it's about 4 inches long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. It goes half way around my wrist. I wish I had pictures to show you, and I did but I deleted them off my computer because I printed the pictures out. Damn! But anyways, it's a very very feminine tattoo as well, and I also get tons of compliments! It looks awesome when I wear color clothes because it matches, and it really stands out and appears to be a bracelet. When I want it covered, I put on a normal bracelet and it covers it just fine, but I never cover it anymore. I love it!

I did the same, er, kinda. I just got my work done after, as I was too swamped to do beforehand. I'm not as organized as you were/are. :)
Of course, now you'll need to stay out of the water for a while. I dive too, and this going back & forth for more work is keeping me rather dry.

there are few moments in life as exciting as your first tattoo, the way it looks in the mirror when you look down, the way you catch yourself glancing at it while driving/sitting on the couch/ sitting at work/whatever. it is one of the few things in this world that can be both deeply personal and on display to world at the same time. i still remember my first one very clearly (i am nearly covered now) and i still get a little giddy when i get a new one. so all that being said congratulations, it is a big day. just be warned that feeling can become addictive and before you realize it you are almost covered in tattoos. i only planned on getting one. now i have about 35.
