Some of the funniest Spanish phrases I've heard are:
"Tu eres un zero a la izquirda" - literally you are a zero to the left of the decimal point (which has no value).

"Palo que nace doblado, jamas su tronco indereza" - a tree born bent will never straighten it's trunk.

"Dime con quien andas, y te dire quien tu eres" - tell me who you walk with and I'll tell you who you are.

A la mujer que fuma y bebe, el diablo se la lleve. Y si a demás mea de pie, libéranos dominé. To the woman who smokes and drinks, lest the devil take her. And if she also pees standing up, free us from her, mister. Éramos pocos y parió la abuela. We were few, and the grandmother gave birth (meaning "as if I did not have enough with these problems, another one came"). Cuando el diablo se aburre, mata moscas con el rabo. When the devil is bored, he kills flies with his tail (meaning "something will go wrong"). Also "El diablo sólo tiene una faena" (the devil has only one task).

Some people say "Tu eres mi media naranja," which would mean my better half in English. It translates literally to you are 1/2 of my orange. :)

Also I think to express when things will get worse before they get better they use this expression " A Guatemala a Guatapeor"

Guatemala meaning the country, which at the end says "mala" meaning bad....to Guatapeor, which at the end has "peor" and that means worse. So from bad to worse.

When a man sees a beautiful girl, he says:

"Macita, te comen los pajaritos..."---->(macita, the birds eat u)macita is food for birds, And macita sounds like mamacita:hot girl. So it a very decorated way to say she's hot.---> **"the birds eat u" is just a complement.**

When a girl sees a good looking boy, she says:"¿Cómo caminan las tortugas? Pues a pasito."

(how do turttles walk? Pokey, slowly) again, a pasito sound like papacito=hot boy, great looking. Also decorated.
