He is so insecure - You just have to accept he's a jealous guy. Tell him that if he is going to continue to feel that way and doesn't trust you or accept your word then he really cannot care for you that much.

first ask yourself: do you liek his bestfriend? if you dont like his friend sit him down and tell him to listen to you because i can tell he wouldnt want to listen to you after you guys had a fight, so anyway tell him u dont like his friend simple as tht
and if he still thinks that you like him tell him that thats what he thinks and you cant change that.

Tell him how much you love him. Say, "You're best friend is just a regular normal friend to me." or, "No matter what, I will always love you" or something like that.- lol
