Not saying popular is a bad thing i am talkin bout the a$$hole popular. Is that even how those kids are or are they just putting on a act to empress others? High School cant wait to graduate that horrible place.

Hmmm. It guess it depends on your definition of "popular"
Most of those kids are putting on an act to impress others. They want to be "remembered" and well-known...you could say "mini-celebrity" status. They want to be the best at everything, be the prettiest, etc.
Although it's good to be known and not invisible...there's a thing to be said for just being normal. The a$$hole popular people always wind up in trouble (or at least at my HS), and they're the ones that are always scrutinized.
I'm "somewhat" popular at my school...but it's only for my brains. It's nice to be known for that, but it gets wearysome. I say that any form of popular can be bad if it gets too big-headed or out of whack...but if you have some and can manage it...it can be a good thing.
And I know how you feel about graduating -- I can't wait either!! =) Good luck!

there aint nothin good bout bein popular...cuz if ur popular u just have to do a bunch of stuff to impress people that u really dont like in the first place so if u wanna be popular wit people that u may or may not like i just wanna say that itll come back to bite u and that will suck so just tellin u

With the momentum of a crowd, you can learn how to become more comfortable with yourself than anyone you know.
The only danger is that you will forget about people who do not know how to be comfortable with themselves.
