Me and My Half Bro?

Question

Ok, I am 12 years old and I have a half brother. My dad got married to a lady, had him, got divorced, and married my mom. I am a very spolied person, not a poor person. My bro is bipolar, and a while back he bagn having achoholic problems. He has now been sober for about a year, and recently moved to Colorado (I live in Texas). He doesn't have a car or anything. I am extremely shy and it is always completley awkward arounh him, and now I won't get to see him for possible years. Any suggestions how to maybe help otu relationship? (I can nto call him, he does nto have a computer)

I see him and I say things like "Hi." and thats about it... we don't talk... never have really! but thanks for the help... i tihnk im guna write a letter soon.

BTW hes totally unorganized, he used to live right around the corner... never even called, hes been a little better the past eyar or so... He'd never be able to write letters, but I can try :) he loves to write... strange stories I dont get. LOL!

Try the old fashioned way of writing and sending cards. You can make your own cards and stamps don't cost very much at all. Send cards that say "Saw a (whatever would remind you of him) and thought of you today" or Was out walking and my mind wandered to my best bro. That kind of thing. You can also send gift cards for birthdays, Christmas, etc. Don't recommend sending cash in the mail. You can make CD's on your computer or whatever and send them to him and if you have a video camera or other type of camera takes lots of pictures of you and your friends and family to send to him.
