I don't even if I know the answer. I just tell where to look for the answers. I don't believe in "spoon feeding" how about you? Should we start a rule YA reagarding this?

I takes them longer to enter the question than if they just did the work.

So no - no answers for homework. It's creating a bunch of non-thinkers....

Get rid of the "homework help" section, then (Actually most kids are smart enough not to go there.).

I agree with the no spoon feeding rule. But I noticed that when I give only partial hints, and let them figure out the rest, I get the thumbs down. Oh well, no good deed goes unpunished.

I think it is wrong for kids to get answers to their homework here. It is a real problem in our time that even college aged people don't understand why plagerism (I know I spelled that wrong) is wrong. They think as long as they cite the source, they can copy and paste all day long.

That is not true.

It makes me want to type a very thorough (and seemingly helpful) answer that I know to be completely wrong just so they will learn that there are no shortcuts in life.

I do it sometimes. But I usually try to force them to think a little bit by only giving them 90% of the answer.
