Yeah I think it's true because I have this girl on my class and every guy in that class say that she's the most beautiful girl they have ever seen you know green eyes, model body, beautiful hair etc. but she's always alone and most of the guys say that it's hard to ask her out!

Yes, there is an old saying that the pretty girl goes home alone.
When I was young I was often told I was beautiful, but I rarely got asked out and had few friends. I am a nice friendly person, I could never figure it out. I have been very lonely, and confused.
As to what someone said, I have often seen myself as ugly, and I worked in a lingerie store where the thin girls would always think they were fat and the heavy girls would come in with way more confidence and buy some really wild stuff.

IMO, genetical good looks doesn't necessarily mean s.o has a good social life. It mostly depends on their early upbringing. If they have recieved a lot of love, nurture and affection they will grow to be strong and independent people who are able to adapt easily into new environments or societies.

I saw this documentary on Borneo's Orangutans. The baby orangutans are doted on by their mother for its first 4 years of life and after that they are ready to live on their own and known to be fully independent yet able to socialize well with other orangutans.

Why are people with not so good features seem to have all the friends and be popular? I guess their secret weapons should be humor, charm and lots and lots of reading.

I think the only lonely people are the ones who aren't willing to put themselves out there to make friends. Getting to know people and letting them in your life is a risk. If you wait for people to come to you, you can be lonely. That would go for beautiful people as well as not so beautiful.

Yes it true. They have many friends but they dont have the sincere ones who really love them for what they are. Everyone will try to make use of them. On the other hand, pretty people tends to be choosy. They might not like to mix with everyone freely fearing that it might tarnish their reputation.

Can be true.. every one thinks if your good looking guys/girls are all over you which is not always the case alot of people may become shy around you and think oh you must have a g/f or b/f so they do not try to get with you..

Yes, I do believe that is the case. People think that those that are beautiful have it all together and have lots of friends but most of the time that is not true.

I believe beautiful people can be lonely, but I don't believe they're more lonely than anyone else. Anyone can be lonely, whether or not you're "beautiful". People are lonely in different ways, one is not more lonely than the other.

Sometimes as they would always be wondering if their friends were true friends or just riding their coattails.

I suppose that the most beautiful people may feel the same as the very rich................."is it me or my money???"

I stand by the old saying "I would rather have one true friend and many acquaintances than many acquaintances and no one true friend". I don't know who said it but it stands true.
