Owls range in size from the Elf Owl, 130 - 140 mm in length, to the European Eagle Owl, 580 - 710mm in length.
They usualy eat rodents, apart from the fish owls, and hunt using thier hearing and have silent flight and can see in extremly low level light, although thier eyesight is not really that good it is just there to stop them from crashing into stuff.

Owls can be just about any size - from the size of your fist up to a great horned owl, that can be as long as 25 inches. They hunt at night as a rule, and usually go after insects and small animals - primarily rodents, but if those are scarce, small pets can also become prey.
