True religion is in the heart of a person. Whatever it is, as long as it inspires him to be good, that is the true religion.

All world religions are in essence stages in the ongoing revelation of the one religion. They come from the same Source and have the same essential purpose—to guide and educate the human race. Their spiritual core is one, but they differ in their secondary aspects such as in their social teachings, which change in relation to humanity’s evolving requirements.

Im a Baha'i and i dont think there is just one true religion,
for example Christianity was a true religion 2000 years ago, all the laws were right in that time, but now they dont apply anymore because there came another religion, some laws were removed or some adapted because in the time of Mohammed and where He lived, most of the people were nomades, like the law , its forbidden to eat pork, because maybe the nomades didnt cook the food good enough, so that law was good at that time but now most of the people cook there food well, like pork.

So this is the time where another religion came from God, The Baha'i faith and the laws of Mohammed were adapted or removed or some are added, because some laws arent necessary anymore.

All the religions are correct and true and non is wrong because it was right in that particular time.

Btw you can talk about a religion when there is a Manifestation of God who comes to spread the faith.

Must meet the following requirements:
1. Not claim to be the only true path (implies all others are wrong).
2. Not want money to build meaningless structures.
3. Not have immutable literature.
4. Not force people to think their way
5. Not threaten people with "Eternal punishment"
6. Acknowledge a single God without gender, family, moods, or needs.
7. Recognize diversity.
8. Not going door to door or worse attacking foreign countries with their expansion mandate.
9. Recognize mankind is becoming an infestation and recommend only two children per family.
10. Not incite wars by agitating their members to "convert or kill" others.

The problem is that there is no such religion. Middle Eastern based beliefs are confrontational with punishments and weak god figures, Indian religions are all over the place, and the Buddhists have no God, just a Void.

In all sense of the phrase "true religion", how can one really believe in one religion without influencing another or being curious about another. You have muslims becoming christians, christians becoming muslims, jews denoucing their faith, and the list goes on and on. One can't really fit the bill of one religion cause all of them go against one and other and pretty much cancel each other out by means of their doctorine. So IMHO, there is no such thing as a "true religion" for the simple fact that religion isn't true to itself, it's doctrine, and most of all it's converts.

All traditional religions carry one main basic message: "Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you." That's called "The Golden Rule" - which is what Solist Mystics adhere to (click link below).

When one lives by TGR then one is living a life of basic spirituality. Serving others is also a good way to make spiritual progress.

When one goes BEYOND traditional religions and realize that there is really no "wrathful God" or "eternal damnation in brimstone," only the endless God Force governed by Universal Law to impart justice, then you are seeking the Ultimate Truth in All That There Is. You become an independant thinker with the advantage to become a God-Realized soul and well above angel hierarchies who empowered traditional religions and who propagate false gods that have done NOTHING to help humanity with diseases, plagues and crimes, like the New Age Galactic Alliance.

It is not what you believe or which god icon you worship that is important, but what you do during your life is what is really important.

The God Force is not a respecter of groups or of individuals - only of SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES.

That is evident from Near-Death accounts.

Blessings to You,

The ability to trace one's church back to the “first church” through apostolic succession is an argument used by a number of different churches to assert that their church is the “one true church.” The Roman Catholic Church makes this claim. The Greek Orthodox Church makes this claim. Some Protestant denominations make this claim. Some of the “Christian” cults make this claim. How do we know which church is correct? The biblical answer is – it does not matter!

The first church, its growth, doctrine, and practices, were recorded for us in the New Testament. Jesus, as well as His apostles, foretold that false teachers would arise, and indeed it is apparent from some of the New Testament epistles that these apostles had to fight against false teachers early on. Having a pedigree of apostolic succession or being able to trace a church's roots back to the "first church" is nowhere in Scripture given as a test for being the true church. What is given is repeated comparisons between what a false teachers teach and what the first church taught, as recorded in Scripture. Whether a church is the "true church" or not is determined by comparing its teachings and practices to that of the New Testament church, as recorded in Scripture.

There is no true religion.

The Latin word from which the English word "religion" is derived means "to bind up."

Jesus did not come to bind us up in rules and regulations or rituals of devotion but to set us free to be man as God inended.

Religion is man's false beliefs and teachings regarding God and His relationship with mankind. It appears as truth, but is the broad way which leads unto destruction.

Christianity is not a religion.

Christianity has mistakenly been defined and described as a religion in which morality and belief-system
in correspondence to the Book are regarded as the basis of the role-playing and problem-solving of the Christian life.life. Not true.

What ever religion rings true in the seeker's heart. Truth is subjective...I am not above quoting Star Wars on this one "The many truths we cling to, depend upon a certain point of view"

No such animal. All religions have some truth; most just have their precepts and dogma (which is not truth). Truth exists far beyond the human experience of religion.

Study Zoroastrianism. It is the oldest faith in the world, kept hush hush though. They say there is a God; THEY HAVE SEEN HIM !!
Zoroastrians believe that Ahura Mazda created humans as allies in the cosmic struggle against evil and that humanity will be resurrected and granted immortality once evil has been defeated. They further view the material world as a trap into which evil has been lured and in which evil will undergo defeat by divinities and humans working together.
