I weigh 141 pounds and I am 5'3. What should I weigh? I know I am overweight.. I look horrible. I have a small frame and I look like a big blob. I am 21 years old.

im the same height and used to weigh 130-135. which was good for my frame. since having kids my weight has gone up to 154. im not happy with how i look but i cant imagine you looking worse than me.

the healthy weight range would be with a BMI between 19-24 and weigh 107-135lbs. and overweight would be with BMI between 25-29 and weigh 141-163lbs.

so according to that you are overweight. but i think its more how you feel about yourself and if youre happy. if youre not happy do something about it...change your eating habits and get out and move. im starting to do that now, its really hard because im set in my ways but i know i can look and feel better if i try.

1. join a gym with a friend, that way youll always have someone to go with and theyll help keep you motivated.
2. cut back on junk food, and just get moving. get outside and walk, get a good exercise video, dance to the radio.
3. start eating more healthy foods. try cooking your meals instead of eating stuff out of a box or a bag. thats what were doing now and my kids are eating much better than they used to. and so am i.
4. look for different sites online for easy low fat recipes.

believe me i know exactly how you feel. im in the same spot right now and im just now starting to do something about it. my second child just turned 1 so i couldve been doing something for a while now. it takes motivation, and you have to want to change your habits. nobody will do it for you. good luck.

You're on the heavy side of allowable weight for your height. It's
115-140. I never go by what 'they' tell me. I go by how my laundry looks on me. I'm ok if my jeans look good! Don't worry, just cut back on sodas or sweets or whatever.

Look up your recommended BMI depends on breast size, ammount of muscle, and if you just ate a huge ammount of food.

5'3"=160cm.---160-100=60kg(Broca's index)---60kg=(60X2.2)=132 pounds.youare 9 pounds overweight.(141) -Not alarming!
