it would go on my upper back not lower and ive been thinking and looking into things for a while. the law in FL is Florida law does not stipulate a minimum age if the minor has parental consent.

You are four years too young to get a tattoo. This is one of many reasons for you not to get it.

Quite possibly. I would wait. Some of the guys at my school grew about 6 inches or more between 14 and 18. Granted, they're above average in terms of height. However, you've still got a lot of growing to do, and tattoos are expensive. Removing them is even more expensive. Wait a few more years, and then you know it won't stretch out badly.

Wait till you are older, get piercings for now it will help satisfy the need you are having. I started piercing myself at 13 because I wanted a tattoo soooo bad and had to wait.
In that case no it would not stretch. But I would consider a few things first.
Will this be your only back piece? If not think of theme you might one day want to join separate pieces. I would spend a few weeks speaking with an artist while he designs you a special piece. Don't hurry up and do it as soon as she says yes, wait and ponder over it for some time. You don't want to regret it. Good Luck and enjoy they are addictive!
I didn't think they hurt that bad, the only one that did was my leg piece that took 13 hours and when we took an hour or so break and my leg began to swell when we went back to work that was when it hurt some.

Tattoos are a serious complicated decision
first, no tattoo parlor should give you a tattoo because you are under age but if you let some friend talk you into letting THEM give you the tattoo you may wind up sorry. Most tattoo parlors I have been in have truly talented artist and many make their own designs. The pictures on the wall can be a guide to what kind of design you would like but remember....everybody will have that kind of tattoo because it is made with a trace pattern. My advice to anyone who wants a tattoo is to pick what they think they would like on their body and then ( I know this is hard ) wait a whole year to get the tattoo. Also remember that if you put a tattoo on your body it should not be easily seen by the public.....makes a bad impression for job interviews..if , in a year , you still want that design on your back , it probably will not stretch out much.
also remember the sun can fade the best of inks.
don't let them tell you different. Sit and watch for a while to see how they do it and how it comes out.
my tattoos represent a special time in my life...I have a Lady Pegasus with a chalice in her hand.
a truly magical design. i picked it out of an astrology book...it was the sign for Sagitarius. the women had a bow and arrow in her hands and my guy was sooooo goood he made it perfect with the chalice having some bubbles coming up out of it. but my favorite one is my Snow Leopard. Wow, I am never ashamed of it...people say nice things like oooo thats cool or what a beauty. it is on my left shoulder in the front and many times it shows but i am not ashamed of it because it is so unique. ok so theres abunch of info.

young man, at the age of 18 the law says you can get a tat.( that being said,) YES,it will distort as your body grows. I have a few tats
and my advice is to pick out the tat you want and where you want it
and then wait the four years til you are legal. there is a good chance you will have changed your mind about what tat you want, and remember son, they don't wash off.
i learned the hard way ,
good luck

Ummm don't you have to be 18 to get a tattoo??? Do you seriously think you will still want this tattoo when you're 20, 30, 40? Laser removal is expensive, painful, and scars. Please think about this. Oh and lower back tattoos usually make people label you as a slut. Just so ya know!

what will it be? even if FL laws say you can get one with parental consent, you should wait, you might like the design now, but your probably wont after a few years.

Well if you're 14, then yes, there is a possibility that it can stretch...but you can't get a tattoo at 14..
