The movie musical "High Society" (basically The Philadelphia Story with music) has a song between Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby called "What a Swell Party This Is" and it was pretty funny. The song was composed and wrote by Cole Porter.

Some Tenacious D Songs.are duets and they are HILARIOUS. (and modern)
Also why not take an old Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney Classic..." Say Say Say" or the " The Girl is mine" and make it funny...change out some of the words.I could see this being something really funny..and. I think that would be pretty original..don't you think?
