If you are tattooing and don't know this, it is a big problem. We don't give advice to scratchers here, sorry.

The tattoo artist will clean the area with a soap called "Green Soap".....it smells distinctly like a tattoo shop...YUM!!

i always take a bath before i get a tattoo. and my artist cleans my skin with green soap. you shouldn't have to do anything extra.

Are you a scratcher? They use magic...and a magic wand.

If you're talking about getting a tattoo yourself....they wash your skin prior to tattooing you....

Alcohol is only bad for you if you have a problem called an addiction, the rest of us find it is fabulous especially on a saturday night after work............

Iodine...the stuff that turns your skin yellow at first. It's used before surgeries, too.

soap.(clean it yourself) and the tattoo person should clean it before they start doing it.
