I have to use sugar subsitute with my tea and I know it won't be as good as sugar sweetened tea, but there has to be a better taste than I come up with. Any ideas.

Try something new called Agave Nectar. It is the syrup of a cactus plant, tastes pretty much like honey, and has a very low glycemic content. It is recommended for people with diabetes, hypoglycemia, or who just want to cut down on cane sugar. You can find it in many health food stores. It's a little more expensive than honey but you only need a small amount. Here is a site that sells it:

Splenda is the best tasting sugar substitute. We have learned though that you do not need to use as much Splenda as you would regular sugar. It leaves an artificial taste if you use too much, not a sweet taste.

Try Splenda and just reduce the amount. Hope it works for you.

Try adding some cut up fruit to the tea and letting it sit for a few minutes. The tea will take on some of the flavor of whatever fruit you add. This is also a great thing to do for plain water.

I fix my tea unsweetened. I then use SPLENDA mixing it by the glass and after it has desolved then add ice.
