I agree with some of the others that it's a casket. The person who makes one certainly doesn't want it, because they have no need for it. Besides, why tempt fate? The person who buys it doesn't use it because they are buying it for a deceased loved one. Finally, the person who is placed in one certainly doesn't know he or she is using it because they are dead.

A coffin/casket.
The person who made it would've sold it (unless they were suicidal).
The person who bought it would've used it for a deceased loved one.
And the person who used it is dead, thus, as far as science can determine, doesn't know about it.
