I'm from Minnesota but I've always regarded the flag as a symbol of rebellion (in the sense of the 'great American spirit of rebellion') and, yes, for godsakes I know the history. But does the political motives of the Confederate Army really outweight the symbol and spirit of rebellion and independence?...

definetly not!

people think the confederate flag is racist, but it's not. don't live in the past. the only thing that flag stands for today is rebellion and rednecks and there is nothin wrong with that.

dude... r u kiding, the confederates were the only people with a flag that "stood" for anything. I stringly beleive in the rebelious spirts of the confederates, not so much as the slave part, but the spirt of rebllion, and standing up for what you beleive in....thats why it usually refered to as the "rebel" flag and less as the confederte flag

No It doesnt bother me at all. It was a part of my heritage growing up. I am from the south and to me it represents the south and the rebellion that once put our country to war.

___ Not at all. i live in NY and I feel everyone has freedom of speech and it a flag. The blacks have their black fist as a sign so the south has their flag. Everyone should be allowed to have whatever they want as a symbol for their love and cause as long as it doesn't show killing or hurting of people. Get over it people. Stop playing the race game. it only makes you look like you can't hack the real world and need everyone to feel bad for you and help you!!!_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________--
