During summer, leaves are generally bright green. What would you hypothesize that this indicates about the role of green light wavelengths, cholorphyll, and the photosynthetic process?

First of all, green light isn't absorbed, it's reflected. Blue and red light are absorbed. Chlorophyll absorbs the blue & red light which drives the photosynthetic process. There ya go.

The colour you see is due to reflected light.
