Wow, this actually just happened to me. I'm a straight A student and thats all my parents expect out of me. BUT, this past 6 weeks I made a C on my report card in Algebra as well. My parents weren't too thrilled but I simply explained to them that things in that class have gotten a lot more complicated and I just don't understand it. (The real reason I made a C was because I was partying too much and just blew off my work) But they bought it. They realized that I'm not used to having to homework every night because things usually come to me really quick and easy and I get my work done fast therefore, I usually don't work on it at my house. So, they simply told me to try harder next six weeks and that they expect to see me bringing home more assignments to work on at home. Don't worry about it that much, your parents probably won't be as mad as you think. I thought mine were going to trip ball sacks but they were actually really cool about it.

If you are telling your parents about you getting a bad grade first of all before you go to your parents think to yourself why and how did I get this bad grade is it because I was slacking off in class ,what was were you thinking when you weren't paying attention in class then think about that . Then go tell your parents about it and say that you're very sorry and you will try better next time or just make up your test if my teachers let me . And that's how you should tell your mom about you bad grade in School.

Your parents were young once too & I know it may not seem like it to you but they remember what it was like to be where you are & have the problem you have. They'll probably act mad & dole out whatever punishment they think is appropriate. Then it will all be over with. Make sure you tell them that you are really trying, and even throw in the word tutor to make them think you're trying but might need some help.

It does look unusual that your grade might flow down like this. You for sure must be academically smart to extra often than not have A's and B's. Are you blending with diverse human beings at school now; or - are you looking geometry too hard? you need to be trouble-free with your self. communicate including your instructor whilst you're looking the artwork confusing, in line with hazard get somebody that should assist you already know the artwork. with reference to the comments out of your mom (you do no longer point out in the journey that your father is likewise aggravated). it fairly is honestly no longer a reliable and being concerned concern on your mom to do. mothers and dads ought to bolster their youngster's self assurance, no longer push it down. One final concern; in line with hazard communicate with the college counselor; they could be a reliable source of help.

well as long as you understand your mistakes, they should accept that you know what to do and next time you shouldn't make the same mistakes.
my mom is just like that, she doesn't care about if i understand it or not (or if its a SUPER bad grade, she drags my older brother in) she just cares about the grade.
on the other hand, my dad does care about the grade, but as long as i understand what i did wrong (usually its writing a problem wrong or something) he thinks its ok.
...and next time, please take time and reread the problems. and study.
