First off the dessert wine others have referred to is a Muscat
Viognier (vee-on-yay) is the off dry white another posted meant to spell.
I wouldn't drink muscat with food but it's nice afte dinner. Any dessert wine is going to be sweet so I'll just suggest still table wines.
Gewurztraminer
Riesling - but not if it is labelled dry riesling
Ehrenfelser

Any wine labelled Late Harvest or L.H will usually have some residual sugars but careful youu don't get a late havest dessert wine.

Gewurztraminer
Lucien Albrecht Reserve [PLU 3471951700009]
from Alsace, France.
Hugel [PLU 3300370180034]
from Alsace, France

Riesling
Loosen Dr.L [PLU 323445612660]
from Germany
Wolf Blass Riesling Gold Label [PLU 00098137333498]
from Australia

Ehrenfelser is hard to find outside of BC, I think. So I won't list any here.

Cheers.

You can try Ice wine but it's pretty pricey.
The grapes are left on the vine to freeze. The water in the grapes turn to ice but the sugars don't so the result is a concentrated sweet wine.
Some of the best are from Canada and Germany. Colder climates are better.
The only brand I usually can find in the grocery store is Jackson Triggs. A 187 ml. bottle will cost around $20.
I'd get it for a special occasion to expensive to drink as an everyday wine.

Vignoles is a good bet - sweet, with fruity/honey flavors
Ice wines are great, but expensive. Worth it though!
Sherrys tend to taste raisiny, whereas ports are intensely grapey.
Anything "late harvest" is usually pretty sweet. Avoid anything marked as "dry". Happy drinking!

My favorite sweet wine is Oliver Winery's Honey Mead. Smooth and sweet!

moscatos are very tasty as are reislings. twisted river late harvest is the best i've tried so far- cheaper than some with a very smooth taste and a little bit fruity. try with spicy food to enhance flavors

Rivsaltes, if you cn find it. Otherwise enjoy a sweet fortified wine (ports, amontiado or cream sherry, bual madeira, etc.)

To go with a meal, try a german riesling (not all are sweet). With desert, go for a botrytised white.

To drink on its own, go for a moscato style.
