For your abs I would suggest push ups and sir ups or crunches. Crunches are the best. Do 100 a day and your abs will look great in no time! For your arms lift weights. They dont have to be heavy weights just try lifting weights a couple times a day. Legs and bottom do squats. A great way to stay in shape is running. It helps the whole body and makes you feel great. As far as diet I wouldnt diet. I would just use portion control.Instead of eating 3 big meals do five small meals. Try to avoid carbs and eat lots of veggies. Good luck!

My advice to you is throw away your bathroom scale. If you want to tone your arms, legs and abs, do 30 minutes of cardio every day. For your legs, ride a bike go running. Elliptical machines can help with your legs and arms. Keep your heart rate up for a good 20 minutes. Then do sit-ups and crunches for the abs.

For your dieting is easy. Don't count calories or grams of fat. Look at the food. If it looks fatty or sugary, avoid it. Think about what you are eating and remember that you want to burn more energy than you consume in a day.

Don't expect instant results. The faster you loose the weight, the faster you will gain it back. Keep in mind that you should loose fat at the rate you gain it. If it takes time to loose the fat you have a better chance of keeping it off. Measure your success on the way you look and feel, not how much you weigh.

South beach diet is amazing! It starts off kind of like a crash diet cutting a lot of carbs but that is only for two weeks and it really motivates you to keep going. The book teaches you about the right and wrong carbs and fats, gives you menus, and recipies. After the first two weeks you gradually add new foods until you get to stage three. The process of adding food in different stages makes it easy to keep the weight off. I am 5'5 and weighed 160 and i didnt look that big but i needed to tone. This diet helped me tons. Also pilates and maybe some eliptical machine as well!!! (at least three times a week) You also might want to try lifting weights. Building muscle makes you lose weight faster. Good Luck!!!

Reduce your caloric intake, cut out all junk food and snacking between meals. If you have to munch on something use raw carrots or celery sticks-no dip. Eat a generally healthy diet and drink more water and cut out the sweet sodas. Increase your activity level by parking further from buildings, use the stairs instead of the elevator, and take walks/jog 2 or 3 times a week. Could also join a gym or YMCA exercise class for regular workouts. Changing your eating habits and making some lifestyle changes will help you keep the weight off once you lose it. Using pills or other quick weight loss programs doesn't work well because you just put the weight back on again.
