My hair is exactly the same. What I found that works is: Not shampooing everyday. I shampoo every other day or other other day. : D Wet it and condition it every morning (I rinse out). Comb out tangles and let it air dry. I scrunch it with my fingers as it dries. If I do wind up using a hair dryer I use a diffuser on it and only enough so it's not dry, but still damp. I get more compliments now than I ever did on my curls. I also started using a product from the "ethnic" isle in the store - it's called Cholesterol. I have no idea if it is all natural, but it is very inexpensive. The kind I use has Aloe. It smells good too.
After my initial comb out for tangles - I never touch it again with a brush or comb. I only use my fingers.
Good luck!

Use a good moisturizing and/or hydrating shampoo and conditioner - Redken and Biolage make some good ones. Focus the application of the shampoo more towards your roots and the conditioner more towards your ends. While you're conditioning, use a wide-toothed comb to detangle and comb through your hair (never brush curly hair, and don't even think about combing or brushing while dry). Use a deep conditioner once a week - when you use a deep conditioner, leave it in for a good 10 minutes regardless of what the directions say. Once a month, apply a tablespoon of olive oil to your hair and sleep with it overnight - then shampoo and condition in the morning. To keep from damaging your pillowcases, wear a plastic hair cap and/or cover your pillow with an old towel. After you're out of the shower, manually wring out the excess water out of your hair (do not use a towel to do this!) put your hair up in a towel turban for about 5 minutes. Don't blot or rub. After 5 minutes the water will be gone without creating frizz or friction in your hair. Mix Moroccan Oil treatment with Frizz-Ease extra strength serum - a 1:1 ratio. Wait about 15 minutes before you use the Moroccan Oil Intense Curl Cream to scrunch (this is the best scrunching product I have ever used in my life).

I have curly hair too. What works for me is usually before I go to bed, I twist a whole bunch of sections separately into zolo knots. I spray my hair with a bit of water, put a little leave in conditioner and twist each section. In the morning, I take it out and all the curls stay nice and not frizzy. Don't comb curly hair. Just use your fingers and twist.

Do not comb it! Put Moisturizing Conditioner on it. How do I know? That's why they call me, "Rug".

as crazy as it sounds, my cousin puts lotion in her hair when she has the frizzies. not a lot, just rub it on your hands and run you fingers through your hair. it definitly helps static.
