Don't straighten every day and when you do use a heat protectant.

I find the brand Ojon (you can buy it from Sephora.com) is great. Their nourishing deep treatment works great.

Any products you put in your hair will just make it easier to manage, they won't actually fix your hair. I suggest you give the straightener a break... I have no idea why some girls with lovely natural curls straighten their hair.

If you're hell-bent on straightening, at least invest in a good flat iron... ceramic ones are best... the more expensive the better.

-Use a good straightner, one with ceramic plates, like a chi. It wont burn out your hair so much.
-Use John Frieda Frizz Ease or another anti-frizz serum (although John Frieda is probably the best)
-Wash it and CONDITION every day.
-Go with it curly on weekends, or when you're not worried about how you look. This will give your hair a break it needs.
