What does it mean when he stops all of a sudden?
He used to stare at me all the time (in the cafeteria, homeroom, in the halls, pretty much everywhere). When I would look back at him, he would look away. Only twice has he looked me in the eye. That went on untill a couple of days before christmas break.
Then he stoped....and I don't know why.

There is a possibility that he is attracted to you yet shy to approach you.
After noticing that you know he is staring at you, possible he felt embarrass and lost hope of himself by thinking that you are upset and not comfortable being eye like this.
Pretend you did notice him anymore for few days, there is a chance if he is still interested in you, he will stared you back again.
P.s ~ There is also a possibility, this guy is checking out your figure only (for his own unknown fantasy) but hope not....... ooooooooo creepy.

I'm a guy and if I like a girl or think she is hot I'll check her out but I'm too shy to say anything so that could be the case that he thinks your hot and/or likes you but is too shy to talk to you so you hsould make the move if your not shy. good luck! xD

He has a staring problem, or maybe there's something about you that's intriguing to him. He might like you, and can't keep his eyes off you.

He thinks there's something funny looking about you. Never know till you ask him. Maybe he had an attraction to you, but not anymore, which could be why he stopped looking at you. Maybe you caught him enough times and it made him feel like and idiot. Maybe he's doing all his staring at some other gal.

He's probably embarassed, and still likes you. Talk to him someday. See if he looks you in the eye. Make a joke. If he laughs, but doesn't look at you, chances are he's too shy. If he looks at you, but for a few seconds, same thing.

He's infatuated with you, but feels too shy or unworthy to approach you. That's why he stares from afar. He may feel embarrassed after you caught him a couple of times.

He probably is mesmerized by your beauty. And the reason why he stopped is because you noticed that he was always staring at you, and he became shy and embarrassed.

Staring is probably b.c. he likes you & is attracted to you but is shy and he turns his head b.c. he doens't want you to know he's staring at you,he's just a typical shy boy.

he pro bally stares because hes interested, but shy, to shy to say hi or ask you out,he doesn't know what to say to you, but he wants you, he stopped, pro bally cause you have been noticing him, or maybe he's getting up enough nerve to talk to you and he dint want you to think he's weird for staring, go say hi to him, put him out of his misery.

he oviously likes you. thats why he always starring. he probably nows u now he likes u so he stp starring or he has a new crush or just doesnt like u anymore fro some reason. just talk to him.
