Man was created by God to have a relationship with Him. Man chose to disobey and broke that relationship. When Eve was deceived and Adam disobeyed God by eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil they aso broke their perfect relationship with each other.

The ultimate goal of human existence is to reconcile that relationship to God through Jesus Christ so that one will worship God and love Him forever.

Hurting others destroys our human identity because we have been made in God's image and God is LOVE, so we must love and care for each other as God loves and cares for us so as to respect God in whose image we were made and to respect our humanity because we were created in God's image.

explain what the creation story emphasizes about human beings' relationship - That god treats us like dirt.

Identify the ultimate goal of all human existence according to the Roman Catholic church - Breed more Roman Catholics - that's why you can't use birth control.

Explain how hurting other destroys our human identity - Because it is wrong unless the other person is a Jew or Muslim or Atheist or Pagan or maybe a Protestant but you have to check with your priest on that one.

If you have paid so little attention in class, you are obviously meant to be an Agnostic - you don't have to believe in anything and there are no tests. If, on the other hand, you paid attention but you couldn't believe the nonsense you were hearing, feel free to come over to the Atheist side.

Human beings were created for mutually sustaining relationships with one another, with the creation, and with God.
We are called to be stewards and partners in God's continuing creation.
The goal of human existence is to procreate and grow the church.
Hurting others damages us in so many ways. Spiritually speaking it disconnects us from the spirit/God connection and can harm us emotionally/mentally as well as postpone our personal/spiritual growth which was intended by God/ourselves. For more information on how hurting others damages our human identity from a psychological perspective you may do some research at the third site below or do a web search for psychology of the mind/emotions.

The answers to all your questions may be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. You do not have to read the entire thing to get the answers. For example the answer to the first question may be found in Chapter 1, paragraph 4 (I believe... creator). I will not give you the answers because that would be spoon feeding. That's not the way to study. There is an online Catechism; here is the link:

Peace and every blessing!

Interesting questions... I could attempt to answer them but I would only be giving you my opinion which may or may not line up with what your teacher is expecting you to know for the test. I suggest calling a friend from class and study together... you'll have a better chance of passing. Good luck!

Sorry-- my grade 10 religion was Church History.
But really, if you were in that class at least one day you could figure out those answers on your gut instinct. There's no right or wrong answer to those questions.

these are of the top of my head so hope it helps

1)the creation storys main purpose is to show us that our creator god made all things. in making all beings and all things genesis shows the desire for god to bring all mankind into union with himself in the history of salvation that begins in genesis and continues today god shows his love for us.

the roman catholic church teaches that the ultimate goal for all humanity is to attian salvation through our savior jesus christ so that we may eternal live with god the father in heaven/paradise that he has promised to us if we accept that their is one true god and follow his word to love him and others with all our heart and soul.

in hurting others we are in essence hurting ourselves. god calls us to be one. as part of gods family hurting another hurts gods family and thus our identity and what we are created for becomes tainted unless we make the neccessary reparations.

It would be nice if your religion test actually covered what the bible teaches. That would make it easy to look up.
