Loreal Color Zap?

I just used loreal color zap to remove a light blonde color from my hair, I left on for a long time, but I can't see any difference in the color. Is this normal for light blonde colors. Should I wait to re-color (I'm going to a medium brown)?

I think you had better go to a professional before you majorly screw your hair up. These products are meant for professionals, I have no idea why these beauty supply stores let the public have access to them.

why didn't you just dye it brown? that would make more sense than trying to remove an already-pale color.
