how to work limewire?

i have used it with good results in the past, but now it will not conect to the system. keeps saying "conecting" but will not. i know it's free, but i paid 18.00 to download the newer version. any help would be great. thanks john

I too get the same problem..But i'll shut it down and again start it...And it works too..You try doing this...Or else you try to reinstall it...
