If you are asking people here is they want to be your friend, then I think it is too dangerous to do this on the internet. You might attract bad people who want to make a problem for you.

If you want to make a friend in Bangkok, good luck. Thai people are generally very friendly and polite but Thai people are very slow to make true friendships. It takes years of careful observation on both sides. Tourists can find people willing to help them easily but as for real friendships, that is a completely different thing.

Hi, Thais are friendly people. So when you get there, you can go to the bars and pubs and look for like-minded locals who are there looking for foreigner friends. try not to get involved with the bar-girls, if you can. Be friendly and truthful when you deal with them. They will respond if they are interested in you.

Oh, it will help much if you can speak and understand a little Thai language.

Try going into a Thai chat room, so you can get to make a """good friend"" before you get here.
