No, I would not, and I wouldn't waste my time.

If you're thinking of seeing one consider the following:

A gentleman by the name of James Randi is offering $1 000 000 to anybody that can prove that they have paranormal abilities. He has offered a reward since 1964 (it was only $1000 back then), but not one person has ever passed the preliminary testing for this challenge.

This is a substantial prize, and most people who claim to have psychic abilities have heard of it, but not many are actually willing to take up his challenge. Of those that have, as I've already stated, all have been shown to be liars.

Nope, wouldn't trust them. I did get a palm reading once as a joke by some friends pushing me towards a psychic in a restaurant. Before I could walk away she took my hand and starting giving me a "reading." I laughed because it was so fake and generalized that you could have applied what she said to any one in the room. Also, what she said never came true with further proves that she was a liar.

I went to one as a young adult and it was out of curiosity. Received a lot of junk from her that wasn't true, so no I would never trust a psychic, now or ever.

I would never trust anyone who claims control over any supernatural powers, since I do not believe in anything supernatural. Those that pretend they are psychics use cold reading and other techniques that are not special, but it involves a lot of guessing and vagueness.

how to catch a con artist.
1. give a false name, pick it from an obituary in your local paper.
2. feed false information to the sympathetic client who is going for a reading before you.
3. tape the reading pass it on to the police.
i did steps 1and 2 and whished i'd did 3. she fleeced my mother and one of my sisters. i wrote to the local paper and she left town. she's probably doing it somewhere else. all psychics are con artists.

Yes, I've been to a few.
But no, I know enough about magic to recognize "cold" (and "hot") readers to know I haven't met or seen a person with psychic powers. They may believe they have powers, but no I've never seen one that could come up to you and tell you everything with probing questions.

Of course not. They are professional liars and con artists. Or delusional. Or both. Either way, not someone to trust.
