I think it's saying that the world is in a rythm.It constantly changes but changes the same way day by day.In the year there are 12 months because there are seasons.There are days because the earth spins.But this never changes because it repeats the same process over and over agian never ending. We ,humans, however do change.We have wars,we live,we die,we love.Its a really confusing quote.
Basicly the world never changes because it repeat's the same action.Humans however do change.Everyday we do something different.

Good question, because it's not really correct if it's referring to human nature. I always give the Shakespeare example. Go find a book of Shakespeare's quotes on love, and read it to a class of ninth-graders. They'll crack up, because every one of them is as true today as it was in 1610: there is nobody who hasn't made a fool out of himself over a girl, etc.

I think the better bit of wisdom is that times change, but people do not.

well , One example , a drunk guy goes to the bar and orders 12 beers and 2 bottles everytime........

One day he decides to not drink , but the bar is still there.....

One day he feels that he has changed , but he know that
the bar will always be there .....
Yup?? He has changed , but the thing( the bar) will not change and always be in business no matter how many people want to change about not drinking
