What sort of stuff do guys do when they like a girl?
I like this guy i`ve known him a while but don`t know him that well if you know what i mean,he`s friendly and jokey with me but that is his nature,asked if he wants to take me for a drink he said if she wants,now how do i know if he meant it or was just joking?

If you're shy, your best bet is to ask him if he's serious when he jokes. Smile at him when you do. It'll put the pressure on him to get serious (because he's now not sure if you're teasing him), or to act.
Its a pretty simple technique, but its one that I've seen work time and time again.

Why do you keep asking the same question about whether this guy likes you or not? Your obviously not happy with the answers your getting so what answer do you want? The fact of the matter is, if you want to know for sure if this guy likes you, you WILL have to ask him. Shy or not. You have to get over it. Otherwise some other girl is going to come along and snap him up. Alternatively, get a friend to speak to him for you. From the sounds of it, he does like you so I would just go for it.

According to my son, this is the way guys are these days.
Too many girls will "hook up" without any commitment, so guys don't commit anymore. It's simply a question of "If she wants to..."
If you don't he knows somebody else will.
YOU have to focus on you...even if you want to remain shy...and make yourself the most attractive girl possible.
I'm not talking about clothes and makeup, though those help.
I'm talking about being happy, carefree and involved with other stuff, so when he first asks you out you can tell him how busy you are, but maybe if he asks again sometime you'll be able to go.
Make him chase you. It is nature's way...

Well, here's one thing...there's no sign to tell if a guy likes you. Same goes for a girl.
Sure you may be shy...but if you stay like that, you won't find out a thing. You will need plenty of courage and I know it's scary, but you got to do it when you got to do! Who knows, he may like you back and fall in love with you madly!

when he is walking somewhere and then makes a special detour just to check if you are there
when he looks at you and smiles with a soft look in his eye
when he gives you a hug or a kiss every time you meet
when he talks about you to his friends
when he treats you differently than the rest of his girl friends
when you ask him to do something that is inconvenient for him but he agrees and says it's not a problem...like going downtown to buy you lunch when you're busy doing something but you're super hungry

He was being brusque, as he was probably in front of others when asked. It's all part of our (us men!) charm. We like to blag it! By putting up a 'disinterested' look and manner, it makes us seem all the more untouchable. As you grow older you will learn this. Most women know by 30, that all us men are full of bluster and blaggardness!
Work it in your favour. Give him the oppotunity, once only, if he blows it. Stuff him!
He may realise his mistake, and come 'a runnin'..!

a million. He dosent pick you to search for suggestion from from the different boy yet him... for instance in case you ask yet another boy sa question he will say the answer 2. He continually asks you in case you want absolutely everyone 3. He sits next to you in college 4. He smiles at you for all time once you look at him 5. If its boy + female companions he will continually pick to pass with you

Well.. all the guys at my school like girls who are themselves! They don't want you to put on a lot of make up! Just say what u like, and stick with it! I think that is what boys look for in a girl!

If he is gonna take you for a drink, then he must be at least a little bit interested - probably at least a little bit more than that.
It's difficult when you are shy, but take your heart in your hand and bleat out..'when are we going for this drink'.
See how you go from there......
