You need to return her from where you got her and get a dog that likes kids. Two reasons:
1. Dog bites can be very, very serious, even from chihuahuas, and obviously you don't want her to bite your kids.
2. She is probably afraid of your children. If you keep her, she is just going to be nervous all the time. That is not a good life for her. I'm sure there's a great home for her with no children where she could have a long, happy life, and you can get a dog that doesn't try to bite your kids.
I personally would take her back and get a different dog because you really really don't want to risk something like that with children, however, should you choose to keep her, I bet an experienced dog trainer/behaviorist would probably be able to help you.

where did the dog come from? these dogs usually hate kids for some reason, and they seem to be re homed a lot because of this, and potty training issues. If you really want to keep this dog, patients is the key, slow and steady retraining methods should work for you keep your kids quiet around the dog and approach it slowly with treats and praise , try not to react to the bad and really play up the good if there is any good in a used chihuahua. GOOD LUCK

Little kids and little dogs don't seem to mix as I found out. It seems that small children are a little too rough for the dogs. You need to insruct the kids to be gentle, very gentle to the small dog. Your dog probably weighs only 5 lbs and it probably doesn't take much to hurt her. From my own experience I wouldn't have a dog under 18 lbs around little kids.

I have a female chihuahua too, she has never liked my grandkids.i got her when she was 5 weeks old, the vet told me that it is just in their nature to be possessive and that small children are intimadating, you might want to think about getting a diffrent breed of dog now that you have children, the dogs dispossion will only get worse the older she gets.

Have the kids hand feed her very small treats like meat morsels. Do this a lot. Feed her meals of small kibbles like this too for awhile because chis need so little food or theyll easily get fat! You can teach her tricks too at the same time. But no human food like crackers and cookies. Those will rot her teeth out.
