It's most probably an ulcer. These usually result from a slight tearing of the skin - maybe your dentist caught your gum when the braces were removed or it could even be as simple as a piece of toast catching you when you were eating. They hurt but aren't anything to worry about - try to stay off really acidic stuff as it can make them worse but just leave it be and it should clear up on it's own in a week or so.

Probably an ulcer. Use warm water as mouthwash, and it should go away. It can be a caker sore. They can develop on the gums. My daughter had a lot on her gums one time. We had to go to the dentist, because it hurt her to eat. Good Luck!

Lay off the Listerine and rinse with salt water (1tsp salt in 1 cup of warm water) If it doesn't heal in about a couple of weeks go see a

I've had them. They are small, white and pussy. Just take a Q-tip and remove it. It should be anything worth fretting about.
