I'm am very skinny, and I'm only 14 so it's just sort of my build right now I guess. But my abs/ stomach really poke out in the very middle front. I feel super self concious around swim suit season beause it just looks really odd. I've been trying to do sit ups, but that only seems to make them stick out even more. I need a way to work my abs IN. Any ideas?

Please no "EAT food and fat! ur just too skinny!" I know I'm skinny but it's hard to gain any weight espeically at my age. it's just my body type, I got a skinny build.

not all Abs are meant to look the same, many young men get the impression that there abs should look like LL cool J or any other fit celebrity.. but its just the way your body its built. so you should be fine its normal. if you still feel uncomfortable see a doctor and he'll tell you whats up

You can exercise to make your abs flatter. Try pilates; it teaches you proper technique and breathing. When do sit-ups or crunches inhale lifting your rib cage and holding your stomach in and come to an upright sit-up position. As you lower your body back to the start position exhale pushing your belly button toward your spine and breathe out through your nose. This is proper breathing technique engages your abs while teaching you to contract them. You will retrain yourself to always be conscious of your core and engage it in all movements even when walking be aware of your posture and engage your abs while contracting them inward, this will give you flatten, toned abs. Try the Winsor Pilates Ab workout, it's about 20 minutes and you will love the results.

I'm having similar problems right now and I'm 14. All I did was went jogging 2 blocks every day. Start out simple though...go up the street and the next week go 1 block, next week go 1.5 blocks and next 2 blocks and so on

Theres no work out to work them IN. if your going to work them there going to get bigger and the bigger thell stick out more. Just dont work out as much. And juss dont wory about it im 15 so i kno. your 14 so your still going to be growing outward and upward lol , you should grow into your 6pack by summer just dont wory about it. Eat normal and work out less thats all i can tell you.

you can try different exercizes to build up all of your abs and obliques

try not working out or tlking to your doctor
