I had something like that happen to me once. I went to the doctor and he told me I had "pulled" my diaphram which is the muscle under your lungs that helps you breathe. I had dizziness and "anxiety" attacks also. If you can't breathe right you will get dizzy and nausea will set in from the feeling of lack of oxygen which will cause you to not feel so great. Try not to agitate the diaphram (avoid the activity that caused it in the first place for sure) until you feel better. I had to hold my stomach to yawn or cough, even laugh. If it hurts for a long time or it has been awhile talk to a doctor. Good Luck!=)

I used to have a TC badge a month ago, but then it disappeared. Probably has something to do with the fact that I had been gone for roughly a month and not answering any questions. Haven't gotten another one since. Oh well, no complaints here. :) MQ: I enjoy Classical, Folk, Jazz, Rock (usually classic rock though), and a little bit of Ska. So, I guess 5? Keep in mind when I mention those genres, I also mean the subgenres that fall under it as well. Peace!

Well it could be because you have touble breathing. Since you are having trouble breathing al the air you suck in is probably getting cloged up by something and is not coming out. I think you should go and see a doctor though because this could turn into to something really bad! I am sure you will be fine though. Just keep doing your best! Good Luck.

try taking it easy for a while. when exercising take a break before your out of breath this should help.
it could be a bruise on the inside or just a resperitory problem
wait a few more days and if it doesn't seem to be going away see a doctor.
get well soon =]

My first guess was also a broken or contused rib... that would explain the pain. My second thought went towards either a panic or mild anxiety attack with the nausea and hot flashes.

Either way if this has gone on for about two weeks, my advice to you is to SEE A REAL DOCTOR and get better soon!!!

That all has been happening for two weeks and you haven't gone to the doctor yet? Is your brain affected too?

If I felt smothered and got dizzy, I'd be at the emergency room by the end of the day.

you need a doctor. Hope you ain't smoking cuase if you are you answered your question. Just take things slow for the newxt few days. relax take a day off, enjoy the sunrise , breathe the fresh air, lay down and watch ''American Psycho' 2 times and think, hmm what if that was me. this works

Sounds like you may have a broken rib. But without x-rays and exam who knows. You probably need to see your family physician. If it is a fractured rib, there is not much they can do except give you something for the pain and you will have to suffer with it until it heals. I have had several fractured ribs and they are not fun and are very painful, but you will live thru it. Get in to see your physician.

sounds like the shortness of breath is asthma..you need to go to the doctor asap..the pains in your side/ribs could be that you did too much straining while exercising, but go to the doctor..you dont want to mess with pains at a young age..

Could be pneumonia. Rule of thumb: if you get dizzy and short of breath while exerting yourself, don't exert; go to the doc's or the ER.
