I didn't know islands had floors. I wouldn't sleep on the sand though. It would get in your clothes & be all gritty. I would prob sleep on dirt or grass & if any big leaves or something around to try to cover up with them if it gets cool out at night. This is of course assuming you're talking about a deserted island. Otherwise like the others mentioned I would sleep in a hotel or other building.

I would build a hut up as high off the ground as humanly possible so just in case there were sea or any other kind of snake on the island I would not have to touch it.

I would weave palm fronds or reeds or something together to make a mat and I would sleep on that until I could make a hammock and a hut of some sort. Maybe a lean-to to begin with and then work on building a hut.

Sand is usually pretty comfortable, so I'd probably sleep on that... unless there was a nice hotel around somewhere.

if there was a floor, then on the floor. but i would sleep on the safest part of the island.

I would sleep in a nice cave, With Banana leaves. I Would sleep in a hotel or condo if I was in Hawaii though.
