If you could spend a week going anywhere in the United States for a vacation, where would it be to, with who, and why?

It would be to florida with my 2 children. Because my oldest has been there and seen it all. and now needs to check out collages and that is where she wants to look at them. And my 4 year old dreams of going to disney world.
would actually like some warm weather right now anyway since maine is suppose to have a cold snap this week

My boyfriend and I would go to Portland, Oregon. We both love it out there. It has beautiful scenery (you can see the volcanoes within the city, depending on where you are), a lot of parks and gardens (the Chinese Gardens are stunning), and great food, especially if you like seafood and Asian food. The people are also very polite. If you love books, Portland arguably has the biggest independent book store chain in the world called Powell’s Books.
Both of us love it out there and we can’t wait until we get back.

I would take 2-3 weeks in the summer and drive route 66 from beginning to end.

i'm assuming a 2 week holiday with pre paid air holiday and widely used class inn reservations and of direction spending funds for incidentals at posh eating places and boutiques, this is intense-high quality of your mothers and dads. How approximately l. a. to Seattle to Denver to evening lights of Mt Rushmore to Chicago to Pittsburgh to Washington DC to Hatteras NC to NYc to Boston then lower back domicile.

maybe just in one state... see all the little towns as well as the cities..

I would go to California because it is so warm there. I would take my sister and one of my friends, and we would learn how to surf.
